How Calico scores
Total three sources at game end: buttons (+3 each, awarded for matching-colour clusters), cats (3/5/7 points each, claimed by patch patterns), and your three design-goal tiles (each scoring per its specific success condition).
Buttons
+3 points per button collected. Buttons are awarded for completing a cluster of 3+ touching same-colour patches; the player who first collects all six button colours earns the +3 rainbow button.
Cats
Cats are claimed when your quilt contains the cat's required pattern of patches. Each scored cat is worth 3, 5, or 7 points depending on the cat — easier patterns reward fewer points.
Design goals
Your three design-goal tiles each score the displayed value if your quilt's six surrounding patches meet that goal — exact-condition values vary per tile and per which condition you satisfy (partial or full).
