Yahtzee scoring fills 13 boxes across upper section (Aces–Sixes, with a +35 bonus for ≥63) and lower section (3/4-of-a-kind, full house 25, small straight 30, large straight 40, Yahtzee 50 + 100 each extra, chance). Highest grand total wins.
Upper section
Aces through Sixes: sum the dice showing the matching face only (e.g. three 4s = 12 in the Fours box). Each upper box is filled exactly once.
Upper bonus
+35 bonus VP if your upper-section subtotal is 63 or more (which is the average of three of each upper face).
3-of-a-kind
If at least three dice match: score the total of all five dice; otherwise score 0.
4-of-a-kind
If at least four dice match: score the total of all five dice; otherwise score 0.
Full house
A three-of-a-kind plus a pair scores 25; otherwise 0.
Small straight
Four consecutive dice (e.g. 2-3-4-5) score 30; otherwise 0.
Large straight
Five consecutive dice (1-2-3-4-5 or 2-3-4-5-6) score 40; otherwise 0.
Yahtzee
All five dice the same scores 50. Each subsequent Yahtzee scored on the bonus chips line is worth +100.
Chance
Score the sum of all five dice — used as a flexible last-resort box.
