How Gaia Project scores
Gaia Project scoring totals VP from each round and your booster, your final position on the six research tracks, federation-token values, the two end-game scoring tiles (18/12/6 placement), and 1 VP per 4 leftover resources. Most VP wins.
Research track
End-game VP from your final position on each of the six research tracks (terraforming, navigation, AI, gaiaforming, economy, science) — typically 2 VP per level on each track.
Final-scoring tiles
The two final-scoring tiles drawn at setup award 18 / 12 / 6 VP for 1st / 2nd / 3rd place in their criterion (e.g. most planet types, most buildings on Gaia planets).
Federation tokens
Each federation token you formed scores the VP printed on it (typically 5–12 VP) at game end.
Round-scoring
VP gained during each of the six rounds from triggering the round-scoring tile (e.g. building mines, upgrading research) plus your booster VP.
Leftover resources
1 VP per 4 leftover credits/ore/knowledge equivalents in your supply at game end (round down).
