How Race for the Galaxy scores
Race for the Galaxy scoring totals the VP printed on each world and development in your tableau, the VP chips you accumulated (mostly from Consume×2), and the conditional VP from any 6-cost developments. The game ends when any tableau reaches 12 cards or VP chips run out — most VP wins.
Card VP
Sum the VP value printed in the lower-right corner of every world and development card in your tableau.
VP chips
Total the VP-chip values you collected during play — chiefly from Consume×2 phases that pay VP for goods consumed.
6-cost developments
Each 6-cost development scores VP per its own rule (e.g. Galactic Exchange = 1 VP per Novelty/Rare/Genes/Alien world; Trade League = VP per Novelty + Rare).
