How Cascadia scores
Score five wildlife totals (one per animal type, scored by the wildlife scoring cards chosen at setup), bonuses for the largest contiguous habitat corridor of each habitat type, and one point per unused nature token at game end. Highest total wins.
Bear
Bear pairs (exactly two adjacent bears) score per the bear scoring card chosen at setup. The four card variants reward different patterns of pairs and clusters.
Elk
Elk score per the elk scoring card chosen at setup — variants reward straight lines, herds of specific sizes, or particular shapes.
Salmon
Runs of orthogonally-connected salmon score per the salmon scoring card chosen at setup — longer runs are worth progressively more, with a typical cap at run length 5–7.
Hawk
Lone hawks (no orthogonally-adjacent hawk) score per the hawk scoring card chosen at setup — most variants reward sight-lines or specific positions.
Fox
Foxes score per the fox scoring card chosen at setup — variants count distinct adjacent animals or specific neighbour patterns around each fox.
Habitat corridors
Each habitat type awards bonus VP to the player(s) with the largest contiguous run of that habitat. Tied players each score the bonus.
Nature tokens
+1 point per unused nature token in your supply at game end.
